At a time when there is so much sexism in the era, Jane Eyre manages to stay different. However, this difference turns her into an abnormal person. She is away from the stereotypes of society. We can consider her as a new kind of a woman of the Victorian era. When you look at the ideas of a woman, they are in the cage of life and thought at that time. But Jane Eyre is located in the climax of a very different triangle. To me, having an abnormal personality, being different from usual is the healthiest thing in life unless you are able to control it because this gives to you a chance to not trap in an ordinary cage of stereotypes. At that point, we can consider her as different person, but she still lives in a cage. Why she still looks at the outside behind the window? Why she needs to hide behind the curtain? Why she always has to be behind of something? For a piece of peace? Well, she wants to live a life different from the women who has educated by ordinary methods such as, having proper manners, playing instruments, finding a perfect, wealthy husband who can take care of his woman well and so on. Jane wants to get rid of those boundaries. Although the conflict between her thoughts and her inner voice did not let her to be completely free, she was having the most critical revolutionist ideas of her time.
